Compress images inside Google Drive

Pick images from your Drive, shrink them, and write the results straight back. No downloading, no re-uploading, no waiting on a server queue.

Shared drives included

Team and shared drives work exactly like your own. If you only have view access, PixelCinch still processes the images and saves the results to your own Drive instead of failing.

No file size limit

A 43 MB photo is handled the same way as a 400 KB one. Nothing is capped, nothing is silently skipped.

HEIC from your phone

iPhone photos are decoded natively, along with JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and AVIF. Output as JPEG, WebP or PNG — or let PixelCinch pick the right one per image.

Your images stay on your device

Compression runs inside your browser. Image data is never uploaded to our servers, because there is no server doing the work.

How it works

  1. Connect — sign in with Google. We ask for one narrow permission.
  2. Pick — choose images from My Drive, a shared drive, or files shared with you.
  3. Run — resize, compress, convert. Results go back to Drive where you choose.

PixelCinch uses the drive.file scope, which grants access only to the specific files you select. It cannot see the rest of your Drive.
